We’re looking for passionate and adaptable 1:1 Tutors to support young people in the Scarborough area who are currently out of mainstream education.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact - helping learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and make positive progress through tailored, relationship-led support.

The role

• Deliver 1:1 tuition in homes or community settings
• Support core subjects including English and Maths
• Adapt sessions to individual learning needs, including SEN/SEMH
• Build positive, consistent relationships with learners
• Help improve engagement, confidence, and routine

We’re looking for tutors who are:

• Experienced working with children or young people
• Calm, patient, and adaptable
• Confident managing behaviour and engagement
• Comfortable supporting SEN/SEMH needs
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
