Our client, a reputable franchise-approved dealership located in South Bristol, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with proven experience to develop their career within one of the UK’s leading automotive dealer groups.

- Starting salary approximately £34,665 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday only
- Conduct servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and workshop manuals
- Perform diagnostic tests, warranty repairs, and general vehicle repairs using advanced diagnostic tools
- Complete digital write-ups and accurate job card documentation for all work carried out
- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) adhering to client procedures
- Support electric vehicle (EV) work and hydraulic repairs where qualified, ensuring safe and efficient servicing
- Utilise diagnostic software and equipment to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Assist and mentor apprentice Vehicle Technicians and less experienced team members to enhance skill levels
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency in a busy franchise environment
- Qualifications at NVQ Level 3 / IMI accreditation in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Demonstrable experience working within a franchise-approved dealership or similar environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team player with a proactive and mentor-oriented attitude
- Ability to produce high-quality work, managing workload effectively under pressure
- MOT certification is advantageous but not essential
