We are recruitng for a Operations/Warehouse manager for a well established Automated Warehouse based just outside of Coventry.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for UK operations, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance. The successful candidate will lead by example, drive continuous improvement, and foster a motivated, high-performing team culture.
You will be expected to balance customer satisfaction with cost control, while maintaining clear communication across all levels of the business. Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence and develop teams are essential.
Qualifications & Experience
A formal qualification in operations, management, or a related discipline would be advantageous; however, significant relevant industry experience will also be considered.

- Maintenance Technicians
- HR Team
Communication & Meetings
The role requires regular engagement through:
- Weekly capacity planning meetings
- Weekly operational reviews
- Weekly Health & Safety reviews
In addition, maintaining effective day-to-day communication across departments is critical to ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Lead and manage operations effectively through a hands-on leadership approach
- Analyse and interpret operational data to support decision-making
- Promote consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental standards
- Apply process improvement and lean methodologies, including 5S principles
- Manage and report on KPI performance
- Demonstrate strong financial and commercial awareness, including cost reduction initiatives
- Build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Adapt communication styles to suit different audiences and management levels
- Understand team dynamics, employee engagement, and performance management principles
- Maintain a customer-focused mindset at all times
- Possess a working understanding of basic property and employment legislation
