Warehouse Operative

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Marden. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and distribution of goods, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and being active throughout the working day.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Receiving and checking incoming goods against delivery notes
• Stock rotation and organisation of warehouse inventory
• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements
• Operating manual handling equipment (training provided if required)
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Following health & safety procedures and company policies
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required by supervisors

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Basic understanding of health & safety in the workplace
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
