Warehouse Operative

🕒 Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:30

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join a growing warehouse and logistics operation in the Ipswich area. This role would suit candidates who enjoy hands-on work within a fast-moving distribution environment and are comfortable working as part of a team to maintain efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and accurately
• Assisting with palletising, stock movement and goods-in processes
• Supporting inventory checks and general warehouse organisation
• Following operational procedures and workplace safety standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environments is beneficial but not essential
• Comfortable working in a physically active role involving regular lifting and movement throughout the day
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to follow operational instructions
• Mandarin or Chinese-speaking ability would be preferred due to the nature of team communication and operational coordination
• A dependable and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility to support additional operational requirements when needed

Experience with RF scanners, warehouse systems, pallet equipment or material-handling machinery would be advantageous. Candidates holding FLT licences (Counterbalance, Reach or LLOP) may have access to broader responsibilities and enhanced earning potential. Current logistics vacancies across Ipswich commonly prioritise forklift certification, warehouse handling experience, safety awareness and reliability.
