Centric Talent is currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our rapidly growing client based in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary-to-permanent position with a well-established and respected business.
Our client is one of the UK's leading bathroom retailers and manufacturers, recognised as a trusted destination for quality bathroom products. With over 30 years of industry experience, they have built a strong reputation by offering stylish, affordable products and continually expanding their product range to remain at the forefront of the market.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking for motivated, reliable, and adaptable individuals to join their warehouse team.
About the Role
This position is ideal for candidates with strong warehouse experience, particularly in picking, packing, and ideally operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring goods are packaged correctly and dispatched on the appropriate pallets
  • Checking outbound deliveries to ensure products leave the warehouse in excellent condition
  • Following and supporting the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensuring deliveries are sent via the correct carrier using suitable packaging methods
  • Adhering to all warehouse procedures and health & safety regulations
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Providing feedback and reporting issues through the appropriate channels
  • Photographing deliveries before dispatch where required
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Supporting general warehouse operations as needed
  • Handling bulky and heavy bathroom products, which will involve regular manual lifting

Essential Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous warehouse experience (essential)
  • Experience with picking, packing, loading, and unloading
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Experience handling bulky or heavy items
  • MHE experience (advantageous but not essential)
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Night Shift
  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 10:00pm – 6:00am
  • £14.87 per hour
Afternoon Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 12:00pm – 8:00pm
  • £12.87 per hour
Day Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • £12.87 per hour
Please note: Pay is monthly.
