Warehouse Supervisor

We are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a busy, well‑organised warehouse operation supporting major commercial and industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in running a clean, efficient, and structured warehouse, with responsibility for goods in, goods out, stock control, and team leadership.
You will lead a small warehouse team, ensuring materials, equipment, and components are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, despatch, and stock management
- Lead, support, and motivate the warehouse team to maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity
- Ensure all incoming deliveries are checked, booked in, and stored correctly
- Manage order picking, packing, and despatch to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all warehouse documentation, system entries, and records are completed accurately
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely supply of materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and workflow
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely and stored securely
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Operative
- Strong understanding of goods in/out, stock control, and warehouse processes
- Confident leading a small team and setting daily priorities
- Excellent Excel skills — able to manage spreadsheets, stock reports, and data accurately
- Strong IT skills, including experience working with in‑house systems, WMS, or inventory software
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- FLT licence beneficial but not essential

- Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15
- Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
