Our client, a major player within the Water Hygiene industry, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality compliance and water treatment services across a wide range of commercial and public sector sites.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of water hygiene duties across client sites throughout London and the surrounding areas. The role will involve both routine monitoring and remedial work, ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and ACOP L8 guidelines.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Temperature monitoring and water sampling

• Showerhead cleans and disinfections

• TMV servicing and maintenance

• Tank inspections and cleans

• Closed system testing

• Flushing of little-used outlets

• Basic plumbing and remedial works

• Completing accurate reports and site documentation

• Ensuring client compliance with Legionella control measures

Candidate Requirements

The client is looking for somebody with previous experience within the water hygiene industry who can work independently while maintaining high service standards across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous Water Hygiene / Legionella experience

• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines

• Experience carrying out remedial and monitoring tasks

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A professional and reliable approach to work

• Full UK Driving Licence
