Working Foreman Civils

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our team on a live substation project.

Duration: 4 weeks+

Pay: From £26.75ph CIS

Start Date: Monday 1st June

The successful candidate will oversee and support site operations involving:

• Drainage works
• Reinforced steel works
• General civils activities within a live substation environment

You must be capable of leading gangs on site while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and workmanship.

Applicants must hold the following:

• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work (FS/FAW)
• CPCS or NPORS
• Relevant Machine Tickets
• Experience working on live substations
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to manage workforce and coordinate daily activities

Duties Include

• Supervising day-to-day site operations
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
• Coordinating labour, plant, and materials
• Conducting site briefings and maintaining H&S standards
• Assisting hands-on where required

Experience

• Previous National Grid or utility substation experience
• Civils and infrastructure background
• Drainage experience (preferable)
• Reinforced concrete/rebar experience (preferable)
