Our client, a well-established and reputable main dealership in Wembley, is actively seeking a highly skilled Workshop Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a dedicated technical team within a prestigious dealership environment. Duties of a Workshop Controller:
  • Oversee and control the workflow of the technical team
  • Allocate jobs efficiently to Technicians and manage job progress
  • Ensure the smooth running of the workshop operations
  • Manage customer expectations both onsite and via telephone
  • Check vehicles onto the site, manage loan vehicle allocations, and record work details on the system
  • Maintain and print job cards, monitor progress of all jobs
  • Workshop Controllers liaise with customers throughout the service process to ensure high service standards
Requirements of a Workshop Controller:
  • Previous automotive workshop controller experience
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
  • Proactive approach to customer service standards
  • Full and clean driving licence
  • Knowledge of workshop management systems is advantageous
