Workshop Planning Administrator

We are recruiting for a Workshop Administrator to provide administrative support for a busy commercial vehicle workshop operation.

You will be supporting a diverse fleet that includes HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, gritters, sweepers and other specialist commercial vehicles.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop from an administrative perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising and processing job cards
  • Chasing and updating repairs
  • Scheduling 6-week inspections, MOTs, routine servicing and reactive maintenance
  • Liaising with the Parts Department to ensure the correct parts and consumables are allocated to the appropriate jobs
  • Maintaining accurate records and workshop documentation
  • Communicating with both internal departments and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous administration experience
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Experience using MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Comfortable working with databases and CRM systems
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to double-check work accurately
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach at all times
