We are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly one-form entry primary school in Derby from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can quickly establish strong relationships, become an integral part of a close-knit team, and make a positive impact on pupils during this important stage of their primary education.

The successful candidate will:

• Have proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and end-of-key-stage expectations.
• Be confident in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge all learners.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Embed seamlessly into a small school environment and contribute positively to the wider school community.
• Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and pupil wellbeing.
