Part of our Construction jobs sector.
Estimators work out what a construction or engineering job will cost — measuring from drawings, pricing materials, labour and plant, getting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing tenders. Many come from a trade, quantity surveying or engineering background; an HNC, HND or degree in construction or quantity surveying is common. Roles are mostly office-based with site visits, Monday to Friday.
