1:1 Behaviour Support Worker – Bradford

£16 - £18 per hour, depending on experience| October start | Long-term | 3 days per week

PK Education are recruiting an experienced 1:1 Behaviour Support Worker to work within a specialist education setting in Bradford.

This is a challenging but rewarding position supporting a young person with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs and significant previous trauma.

We're looking for someone calm, resilient and confident who can build a positive and consistent relationship while maintaining clear professional boundaries.

Previous experience within SEMH, PRU, Alternative Provision, youth work, residential care, secure settings or other complex behavioural environments is essential.

You will need to be confident supporting challenging behaviour, using trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation strategies, recognising triggers and following individual safeguarding and risk-management plans.

Team Teach, MAPA or equivalent positive-handling training is desirable but not essential.

Applicants must hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS through PK Education.

The role is due to start in October 2026 and is expected to continue throughout the academic year.

Pay: £16–£18 per hour, dependent on experience.
