Cover People are looking for a patient, caring and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Salford.

The position will initially be for two and a half days per week, before increasing to a full-time, five-day role within the next few weeks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a consistent relationship with a child and make a genuine difference to their confidence, learning and overall school experience.

• Providing dedicated one-to-one support
• Helping the pupil access classroom learning
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement
• ‍ Working alongside the class teacher, SENCO and support team
• Following individual support plans and recording progress

• Calm, patient and compassionate
• Confident supporting children with additional needs
• Experienced within SEND or a primary-school environment
• Able to establish positive routines and clear boundaries
• Reliable and able to progress from 2.5 to 5 days per week
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Ready to begin as soon as possible
