Cover People are looking for a patient, caring and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Salford.
The position will initially be for two and a half days per week, before increasing to a full-time, five-day role within the next few weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a consistent relationship with a child and make a genuine difference to their confidence, learning and overall school experience.
✨ What Will You Be Doing?- Providing dedicated one-to-one support
- Helping the pupil access classroom learning
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Adapting activities to meet individual needs
- Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement
- Working alongside the class teacher, SENCO and support team
- Following individual support plans and recording progress
- Calm, patient and compassionate
- Confident supporting children with additional needs
- Experienced within SEND or a primary-school environment
- Able to establish positive routines and clear boundaries
- Reliable and able to progress from 2.5 to 5 days per week
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
