A brilliant secondary school located in the Oldham area is eager to find an outgoing, academically strong and patient 1:1 Student Mentor to provide dedicated academic support and monitor progress throughout the academic year.

1:1 Student Mentor – Role Information: 

  • Providing key 1:1 academic, social and emotional support to student with SEMH needs
  • Building and sustaining genuine rapport with student throughout the academic year
  • Helping student overcome academic barriers in various subjects
  • Monday to Friday role – September 2026 to July 2027
  • Working hours: 08.30am to 15.15 pm
  • Paid £93 per day during term time 

1:1 Student Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
  • Prior experience tutoring, teaching or volunteering with children or young adults
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about the development of children
