Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A welcoming primary school in Peacehaven is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional wellbeing and academic progress.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive engagement and learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support and interventions.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of the pupil's development.
- Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Have experience supporting children with SEMH needs (school-based experience is desirable).
- Be patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Be confident implementing behaviour management strategies.
- Hold a relevant qualification or have strong experience in a similar role.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
