2nd Fix Carpenter

Location: Lingfield, Surrey
Start Date: 18 September 2026
Duration: Approximately 1 month
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate: £250 per day
Parking: Free parking available on site

Our client is currently working on a development of 7 new-build homes in Lingfield, Surrey, and is looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join the team for approximately one month.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing high-quality second-fix carpentry works and must be confident working independently within a new-build environment.

• 
  Install skirting boards and architraves.
• 
  Fit door ironmongery, including handles, latches, locks and hinges.
• 
  Install internal doors and associated fittings.
• 
  Fit kitchen units and complete associated carpentry works.
• 
  Install cabinets and bespoke shelving.
• 
  Complete general second-fix carpentry and finishing works.
• 
  Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout the project.
• 
  Work safely and efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

• 
  Valid Blue CSCS Card.
• 
  Proven experience as a 2nd Fix Carpenter, ideally within new-build projects.
• 
  Own tools suitable for second-fix carpentry.
• 
  Full PPE.
• 
  Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
• 
  Good attention to detail and a high standard of finish.
