3.5 Tonne Van Driver

We're looking for reliable and customer-focused 3.5 Tonne Van Drivers to join a busy distribution team in Leicester. If you enjoy being out on the road, providing great customer service, and working as part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering parcels across Leicester and the surrounding LE postcode areas. You'll have a regular route, allowing you to build relationships with your customers and become familiar with your delivery area.

Before heading out each morning, you'll assist with loading your van to ensure you're ready for the day's deliveries.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
• 1 in every 6 Saturdays: 7:30am – 1:00pm

Pay

• £13.00 per hour while working through the agency
• £13.50 per hour upon securing a permanent position

Key Responsibilities

• Complete 50–80 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Deliver within LE postcode areas on a dedicated route.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with regular customers.
• Assist with loading the van before starting deliveries.
• Safely handle parcels weighing up to 30kg.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with the entitlement to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience is preferred.
• Good spoken and written English, with the confidence to communicate professionally with customers.
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels weighing up to 30kg.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently to delivery schedules.
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
