3 Axis CNC Machinist - Setter Operator

Days | £16.00–£20.00 per hour | 28 Days Holiday + Pension

An established precision engineering and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced 3 Axis CNC Machinist / Setter Operator to join its production team.

Working within a busy engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating 3 Axis CNC machinery to manufacture precision engineered components.

• Set and operate 3 Axis CNC machines

• Manufacture precision machined components to engineering drawings

• Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes

• Check completed components using appropriate measuring equipment

• Maintain quality standards throughout production

• Work closely with the wider manufacturing and engineering team

You should have previous experience working as a CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist or CNC Miller within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

You will need to be confident setting CNC machinery rather than purely operating pre-set machines, with a good understanding of engineering drawings and component quality.

This is a permanent days position offering a competitive hourly rate of £16.00–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience, alongside 28 days' holiday and pension.
