We're looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our busy operations team based in the Warrington area. Due to continued growth and increased workload, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract with the potential to become a permanent position.

Working Hours
Core operating hours are 06:00 - 20:00. Flexibility is essential, as occasional changes may be required to accommodate late-running rail services.
Key Responsibilities
As a 360 Excavator Operator, you'll play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of the terminal by:
Operating a 360 excavator (approximately 10 tonnes) using grab and clamshell attachments
Organising and maintaining terminal stockpiles to maximise efficiency and accessibility
Keeping walkways, access routes and operational areas safe and clear
Loading and unloading HGVs and rail freight wagons safely and efficiently
Completing daily plant inspections, maintenance checks and fluid level records
Reporting equipment defects promptly to minimise downtime
Working safely at all times in line with company Health & Safety procedures
Assisting with basic administrative duties, including weighbridge and office tasks
Providing guidance to HGV drivers and visitors to ensure safe operations across the terminal
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role you'll need:
NPORS or CPCS certification for operating a 360 Excavator
A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a 360 excavator
At least 2 years' experience using grab or clamshell attachments
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to commute to Warrington (ideally within 40 minutes)
Good level of physical fitness
A positive, reliable attitude and strong team-working skills
Safety Critical Role
This is a Safety Critical position operating within the rail freight industry.
