360 Grab crane operator

Pennine Recruitment (acting as a recruitment business) are delighted to be recruiting a 360 Grab crane operator to join a well-established business in Sheffield on a full time, Ongoing basis.

Hours of Work- 7.30am to 4.30pm

Starting pay rate- £15.25 per hour

We are ideally looking for individuals who have previous experience in machine operative/production roles

Duties will include, but is not limited to:

• Machine operation sorting metal
• Operating a 360 grab crane
• Sorting/segregation of different metals
• General duties around the production facility
• Be able to use your own initiative
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects due to the nature of the business
• Occasionally using an FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials

Person Specification

• Has a keen attention to detail
• Good maths and computer skills
• Physically fit due to the nature of the products
• Able to accurately produce reports
• A methodical, logical and practical approach
• Has an awareness of Health & Safety and able to follow the correct Health & Safety procedures
• 360 Grab crane experience / licence
• FLT Counterbalance License
