360 Excavator Operator – Solar Farm, Powys
Location: SY17 5SE, Mid Wales
Start Date: Monday 22nd June Duration: 6 weeks Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role -
Norse are looking for experienced 360 excavator operators to join an established team on a solar farm installation project in Powys. This is a 6-week contract with an immediate start.
Duties
- Operating 360 excavators for cable trenching and backfilling
- Excavating foundations for solar panel mounting frames
- General earthworks and site levelling
- Loading and moving materials around site
- Working alongside ground workers and civils teams
- Maintaining equipment and completing daily checks
- Following site safety protocols and method statements
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 excavator ticket (must be in date)
- Proven experience operating on civils or renewables projects
- Own PPE (hard hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves)
- Reliable transport — rural site location
- Right to work in the UK
