360 Operator

360 Operator (Groundworks & Civils), Central London, £22.50p/h

We are seeking a number of 360 Operators to work in Central London. You will efficiently support groundworks and civil engineering activities, including excavation, grading, trenching, lifting operations, and site preparation. Contribute to high‑quality delivery of infrastructure, drainage, foundations, utilities, and general civils works.

Duties for the 360 Operator:

• Carry out digging, trenching, grading, and earthmoving to required levels and tolerances.
• Load dumpers, wagons, and other plant safely and efficiently.
• Strip topsoil, cut formation, and prepare sub‑bases.
• Excavate for drainage, ducting, manholes, foundations, retaining structures, and service trenches.
• Assist groundworkers with pipe laying, concrete pours, kerbing, and other civils tasks when required.
• Support installation of utilities and infrastructure
• Undertake lifting duties using certified lifting accessories (chains, slings, lifting eyes) in accordance with LOLER.
• Work under the direction of a slinger/signaller when lifting loads.

Skills required for 360 Operator:

• CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator (above and below 10 tonnes) – valid and in date.
• Proven experience in groundworks or civil engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety, underground services, and temporary works.
• Ability to read and follow levels, drawings, and site instructions.
