Freeway Recruitment are looking to register 7.5 Tonne Drivers for full time employment with our client:

Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver 

Job type: Temp/ongoing

Shifts - Days Monday to Friday

Start time/s: 0700am

Job Description:

Our customer is an independent company located in Leeds

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (Category C1) Drivers to support a well-established business

You will be transporting construction related materials

Deliveries are local across Yorkshire and the North of England

Deliveries/Collections can range from 2 - 6 per day

The Driver is required to support on site teams with loading and unloading of goods which requires manual handling, driver needs to be willing to carry out this duty and familar with safe manual handling pratices.

Average day is 8-9hrs maximum

Requirements:

• Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
• Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
• Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
• Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client

Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

• Valid Class C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence + Valid Digital tachograph card + Valid Driver CPC card
• Hold an in date Lorry Loader HIAB Licence (ALLMI, ITSSAR, RTITB and other training qualifications accepted)
• Have No more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
• 2 work check-able work references

Pay

£16.81ph (Holiday’s paid out weekly/in advance).
