Pertemps is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to work on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in the Inverness area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for work with a well-known national delivery company.
 
Your Role
 

  • Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.

  • Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.

  • Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.

  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.

Requirements
 

  • Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.

  • Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.

  • Good knowledge of Inverness and surrounding areas.

  • Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.

  • You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

Other Information:
 

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 15.45pm - 01.30am

  • Pay Rate from: £15.06

  • Duration of Assignment: 2 weeks.

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Location: Inverness Industrial Estate, 7 Lotland Street Longmann, Inverness IV1 1AD
