7.5 Tonne Driver

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a busy events and catering operation across the UK for one week only.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver who is comfortable with long-distance driving, overnight stays, and supporting a high-profile events schedule.

About the Role:

Start: 22/06
Duration: 6-Day Assignment
Location: UK-Wide (London, Glasgow, Gateshead & Croydon)
Pay Rate: Competitive – Depending on Experience
Accommodation: Fully Provided and Paid For

Schedule:

Monday

• Collect 7.5 tonne catering vehicle from Colindale, London.
• Drive to Glasgow and deliver to secure overnight storage.
• Overnight stay in Glasgow (accommodation provided).

Tuesday

• Collect vehicle from storage and drive to event location in Glasgow.
• Return vehicle to overnight storage after the event.
• Overnight stay in Glasgow (accommodation provided).

Wednesday

• Collect vehicle from storage and drive to second Glasgow event.
• Return vehicle to overnight storage following the event.
• Overnight stay in Glasgow (accommodation provided).

Thursday

• Collect vehicle and drive to event in Gateshead.
• Return vehicle to secure overnight storage in Gateshead.
• Overnight stay in Gateshead (accommodation provided).

Alternative option available to drive to Gateshead following Wednesday's event.

Friday

• Collect vehicle from Gateshead storage location.
• Drive vehicle to secure overnight storage in Croydon.

Saturday

• Collect vehicle from storage.
• Drive to Croydon town centre for early-morning festival set-up.

About You:

Essential:

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Willingness to stay away overnight during the assignment.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
