Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver - Event Hire

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire

Hours: Rolling Shift Pattern - Weekend Availability Required

Salary: £15.00 an hour, weekly pay

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable 7.5 Tonne Van Driver to support a busy and growing event hire business.

This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You’ll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Drivers Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Please note — this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend workin

Duties of a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle to event locations
• Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two
• Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products
• Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment
• Providing excellent customer service onsite
• Working flexibly around changing delivery schedules and event requirements

What we would like from you:

• Full UK Driving Licence (7.5T)
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Strong teamwork skills
• Previous delivery or event experience beneficial but not essential
