7.5 Tonne Driver

Location: Swansea
Pay Rate: £16.05 per hour
Overtime: £23.43 per hour after 40 hours worked per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am Start | 8-10 Hour Shifts

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver (Category C1) to join a busy transport team based in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity offering regular weekday work, plenty of overtime, weekly pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to complete deliveries and collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, with regular manual handling involved.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where required.
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with customers.
• Follow all road transport legislation and company health and safety procedures.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

• Full UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN endorsements).
• Previous 7.5-tonne driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• £16.05 per hour.
• Overtime paid at £23.43 per hour after 40 hours worked each week.
