The Best Connection Sheffield is recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver on behalf of our client, a specialist provider of machine knife sharpening services.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering full training and the chance to secure a permanent role with a well-established business.
Training
The successful candidate will initially drive a company van for approximately 3-5 weeks while completing full training, learning the role before progressing to a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
The Role
  • Nationwide collections and deliveries
  • Visiting pre-arranged industrial customer sites
  • Typical start time of 6:30am
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Manual handling and occasional heavy lifting
  • Providing a professional, safe, and reliable service at all times
Pay
  • £14.00-£15.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Weekly PAYE pay
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
