A Level Geography Teacher in Widnes, Cheshire

Role: A-Level Geography & Environmental Science Teacher
Location: Widnes | Monday-Wednesday | Temporary | 3 Days per Week
Rate: £220 - £250 per day

Eden Brown are in need of a knowledgeable A-Level Geography & Environmental Science Teacher to join a leading college in Widnes on a temporary basis, working Monday to Wednesday.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or lecturer with a strong subject background who is passionate about supporting students and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.

The Role
You will be responsible for teaching A-Level Geography and A-Level Environmental Science, helping students develop their subject knowledge, analytical skills and confidence in preparation for their examinations and future study.

Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging A-Level Geography and Environmental Science lessons
Support students with their academic progress and development
Prepare students effectively for examinations and assessments
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Create an inclusive and positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management

About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong knowledge of A-Level Geography and Environmental Science
Has experience teaching post-16 students
Holds relevant teaching qualifications or significant teaching experience
Is confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
Is committed to helping students achieve their academic potential
