As an ABAP Developer at Tata Service, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP solutions. This role involves translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and delivering high-quality ABAP code that enhances system functionality and performance. You will play a critical part in supporting our clients' SAP landscapes, ensuring optimal system operation and contributing to strategic project delivery.

• Develop and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of ABAP code to ensure high quality and performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Manage changes to existing SAP systems and solutions, adhering to best practices and change management principles.
• Optimise existing ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP application issues.
• Document technical specifications, test plans, and solution designs thoroughly.

• Proven experience as an ABAP Developer in a professional environment.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
• Experience with Change Management processes and tools.
• Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with S/4HANA development (e.g., CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/UI5).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) or other cloud integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Certification in relevant SAP modules or ABAP development.
