Academic Quality and Compliance Manager
Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for an Academic Quality & Compliance Manager to join OnCampus Ireland, Maynooth. The role will be on a Part-time, Permanent basis.
The Academic Quality & Compliance Manager is required to:
Provide strategic academic quality leadership to the OnCampus Ireland Centre(s), to have overall responsibility for the academic standards of the Centres and is the designated person with responsibility for ensuring that the Centre(s) complies with relevant academic statutory, regulatory and accreditation agencies. Centre Director implements Quality Assurance policies and procedures including the management of academic staff, examinations and assessments, and the Academic Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for active monitoring of these to ensure they are implemented to the required standards as set out by and agreed with regulators and awarding bodies. The Academic Quality & Compliance Manager is the main point of contact for QQI, IEM, ILEP and awarding bodies and reports to the CEO.

Person Specification
Education
- Masters qualified with a recognised TEFL certification (essential)
Experience
- 5+ years of teaching experience in a QQI or equivalent accreditation environment, at least 2 of which are in an international or multicultural environment (essential)
- Experience designing curriculum (essential).
- 2+ years’ experience in managing programmes and centre management (essential).
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role in an academic environment (essential).
- An understanding of Irish and EU higher education and the needs and requirements of international students (essential).
- Significant breadth and depth of English language teaching experience (Essential)
- Significant experience of devising and delivering high quality continuing professional development activities for teachers (Essential)
- Significant experience of conducting evaluation and review activities, building and implementing high quality SMART action plans leading to measurable improvement on delivery of services to students (Essential)
Skills
- Demonstrates cross-cultural awareness and understanding (essential).
- A high degree of competence in the effective use of common Information Communications Technologies (ICT), particularly Microsoft Office packages and a variety for company IT systems and portals (essential)
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure (essential).
