Accommodation Support Officer

We’re hiring for a Part Time Accommodation Support Officer to join our team and make a meaningful impact every day.
 

In this role you will;

  • Manage a caseload of adult males in custody, working closely with probation practitioners and key stakeholders
  • You will carry out initial assessments to understand individual circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through structured interventions 
  • You'll support participants in navigating housing challenges, ensure they are kept informed of decisions affecting them.
  • Promote their understanding of rights, responsibilities, and available support.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary Starting from £25,877 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: HMP Lverpool

Hours: Part Time, 18.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans
  • Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need
  • Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system
  • Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns

Skills & Experience

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Good organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
