Account Co-ordinator – Gi Group (Coventry)
Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term maternity cover
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend coverage may be required)
Location: On-site, Coventry

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Account Co-ordinator to support our client and wider recruitment operations. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day account activity, coordinate staffing requirements, and ensure clear, consistent communication with client, candidates, and internal teams. It’s a fast-paced position that suits someone with strong attention to detail and a practical, service-led mindset.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of client account services and requirements.

  • Coordinate candidate bookings, availability, schedules, and wider workforce needs.

  • Act as a key point of contact for client, candidate, and internal account queries.

  • Partner closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure staffing demands are met.

  • Monitor attendance, coverage, and service delivery, escalating risks or issues as needed.

  • Provide regular updates to client and internal stakeholders on bookings, progress, and any changes.

  • Support onboarding activities, including Right to Work checks and other compliance processes.

  • Maintain accurate candidate, client, and account records across CRM and scheduling systems.

  • Manage and resolve queries promptly and professionally.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in account coordination, administration, recruitment/staffing, customer service, or a similar environment.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Confident communicator, both on the phone and in writing.

  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly for record-keeping and compliance checks.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.

  • Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.

  • Confidence handling queries and escalating issues appropriately.
