Niche Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Watson Fuels to recruit Account Executives to join its depot-based regional teams in West Moors.

This is a busy, telephone-based position where exceptional customer service sits at the heart of everything you do, alongside the opportunity to develop your own portfolio of commercial customers. You'll manage a high volume of inbound calls from domestic and commercial customers, helping with orders, deliveries, pricing and general enquiries. You'll need to listen carefully, understand what each customer needs and take ownership of the conversation through to resolution.

Alongside this, you'll build relationships with commercial customers, retain and grow existing accounts, identify opportunities and convert enquiries into sales. You don't need fuel or energy experience. Watson Fuels is looking for people with the right customer approach, communication skills and commercial mindset.

This role is a hybrid position, working 3 days in office. It offers a competitive salary, plus generous monthly commission.

What you'll be doing

• Managing a high volume of inbound customer calls
• Delivering excellent service to domestic and commercial customers
• Taking ownership of orders, queries and pricing conversations
• Building relationships with your commercial customer base
• Retaining and growing existing accounts
• Identifying sales opportunities through customer conversations
• Making proactive outbound calls to develop accounts
• Working towards customer service and sales targets
• Keeping CRM and customer information accurate

• An excellent telephone manner and exceptional listening skills
• Patience, empathy and a genuine customer-first approach
• Confidence taking control of customer conversations
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to ask for the business
• Good organisation and the ability to manage a busy workload
• Previous customer service, account management or sales experience
