Are you an experienced Account Manager with a background in print? Do you thrive on building strong client relationships, keeping projects on track and delivering exceptional customer service?

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Account Manager to join an established high value goods prnting company based in Derbyshire.  Working closely with the Head of Sales, you’ll take ownership of key client accounts, coordinate orders through production and identify opportunities to grow existing business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the demands of the print industry, enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right with major key clients.

The Role

As Account Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring their requirements are understood, orders are processed accurately and deadlines are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing key client accounts, building long-term, trusted relationships.

• Acting as the main point of contact for client enquiries, queries and complaints.

• Processing customer orders, entering information onto the system and creating production work tickets.

• Checking materials and ensuring everything is in place before production begins.

• Chasing order progress and working closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are achieved.

• Preparing and submitting quotations, ensuring accuracy and a timely response.

• Identifying opportunities to generate additional business from existing clients and contacts.

• Anticipating client needs, resolving issues and identifying ways to improve service and account performance.

• Supporting the Head of Sales with the day-to-day management and development of key accounts.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have previous Account Management experience within the print industry, with a strong understanding of customer requirements, order processing and production deadlines.

You’ll also bring:

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

• Good IT skills, numerical ability and confidence using business systems.

• A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach.

• The ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• A collaborative attitude, with the confidence to work independently and alongside colleagues across the business.

• A commercial mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities to develop existing accounts.

Days - 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday
