Account Manager – Hull (occasional travel to Scunthorpe)
Salary: Up to £30,000
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: On-site, Hull
We’re looking for a proactive, organised Account Manager to join our team in Hull. You’ll manage key client relationships, oversee day-to-day account activity, and ensure a consistently high level of service across recruitment and workforce management solutions. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day account queries and service needs.
Partner with recruitment and operations teams to meet client staffing requirements.
Monitor workforce requirements, bookings, attendance and service delivery against agreed standards.
Provide regular client updates on progress, coverage, performance and any potential risks.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, retention and overall account performance.
Support reporting, forecasting, client reviews and account performance documentation.
Ensure processes are completed accurately and in line with policies, contracts and relevant legislation.
Handle and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records across CRM, scheduling and reporting systems.
What we’re looking for
Experience in account management, client services, recruitment/staffing, workforce management or a similar customer-focused environment.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills (phone and written).
Excellent organisation and time management; able to juggle multiple priorities.
Commercial mindset with a strong focus on service delivery.
Confidence managing challenging conversations and resolving issues.
High attention to detail and accuracy in records and reporting.
Comfortable using MS Office and CRM/administration systems.
Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
