Account Manager – Hull (occasional travel to Scunthorpe)
Salary: Up to £30,000
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: On-site, Hull

We’re looking for a proactive, organised Account Manager to join our team in Hull. You’ll manage key client relationships, oversee day-to-day account activity, and ensure a consistently high level of service across recruitment and workforce management solutions. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication, commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.

  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day account queries and service needs.

  • Partner with recruitment and operations teams to meet client staffing requirements.

  • Monitor workforce requirements, bookings, attendance and service delivery against agreed standards.

  • Provide regular client updates on progress, coverage, performance and any potential risks.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, retention and overall account performance.

  • Support reporting, forecasting, client reviews and account performance documentation.

  • Ensure processes are completed accurately and in line with policies, contracts and relevant legislation.

  • Handle and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

  • Maintain accurate records across CRM, scheduling and reporting systems.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in account management, client services, recruitment/staffing, workforce management or a similar customer-focused environment.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills (phone and written).

  • Excellent organisation and time management; able to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Commercial mindset with a strong focus on service delivery.

  • Confidence managing challenging conversations and resolving issues.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in records and reporting.

  • Comfortable using MS Office and CRM/administration systems.

  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
