We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join a leading healthcare technology and medical solutions organization based in the Northern Netherlands. This dynamic, field-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to drive sales growth and build strategic relationships within hospitals and healthcare providers across the region. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering innovative medication management and hospital automation solutions that improve patient safety and operational efficiency.

This position involves extensive travel and a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach, requiring a proactive, results-driven individual to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Account Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospital and healthcare environments to support company growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
  • Manage complex sales processes from opportunity identification through to contract award and implementation.
  • As the Account Manager, you will drive the adoption of integrated medication management and health technology solutions.
  ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Account Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Nursing, Business Management).
  • Proven experience selling into hospitals or healthcare organizations, ideally within tender-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, stakeholder management, and solution selling techniques.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
