An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a successful and expanding IT solutions provider that delivers innovative technology services to businesses across the UK.

This organisation prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service and tailored technology solutions, helping organisations improve efficiency, strengthen security, and maximise the value of their IT investments. Their portfolio includes managed IT support, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, hardware, software licensing, and IT consultancy, supporting customers across a range of sectors.

As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of an established client portfolio, building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customers receive an outstanding service throughout their journey.

The Role

As the successful Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of business accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and become a trusted technology advisor.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IT products, managed services and cloud solutions.
  • Generate quotations, proposals and renewals.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieve revenue and margin targets.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an Account Manager, IT Sales, Internal Account Manager or Customer Success role.
  • Experience within the IT, Managed Services (MSP), Technology or Telecommunications sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative approach to sales with a genuine passion for customer success.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
