Aztrum Recruitment is partnering with a growing and highly respected Managed Service Provider that delivers proactive IT support, Microsoft solutions, cyber security, cloud infrastructure and strategic IT consultancy to businesses across the UK. The business is known for its customer-first approach, long-term client partnerships and delivering technology solutions that help organisations grow with confidence.

Due to continued expansion, they're looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join their Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with MSP or IT solutions experience who enjoys developing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering exceptional customer service.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of existing customers, acting as their trusted technology advisor while driving account growth through cross-selling and upselling managed IT services and solutions.

You'll work closely with technical consultants and service delivery teams to ensure customers receive outstanding support while identifying opportunities to introduce services such as Microsoft 365, cyber security, cloud solutions, infrastructure upgrades and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing business accounts.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell managed IT services and solutions.
  • Conduct regular customer reviews and account planning meetings.
  • Produce quotations and manage proposals through to completion.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Achieve revenue and growth targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager within an MSP, IT reseller or technology solutions provider.
  • Strong knowledge of managed IT services, Microsoft technologies, cloud or cyber security solutions.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience managing renewals, account growth and customer retention.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
