We are recruiting for a Customer Account Manager to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business, supporting a major military aerospace customer programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key customer account and play a critical role in ensuring customer requirements are delivered successfully.



The Role

As the primary point of contact for your customer, you will manage day-to-day communications, coordinate actions across the business, and provide exceptional customer support. Working closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality, you'll ensure customer commitments are met while building strong internal and external relationships.

This is a busy, fast-moving role that would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing priorities, and driving actions through to completion.



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for a key customer account.
  • Manage customer enquiries via phone, email and occasional face-to-face meetings.
  • Provide updates on orders, deliveries, production schedules and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate activities across Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality teams.
  • Monitor customer requirements and ensure actions are completed on time.
  • Analyse customer and order data using Excel.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service and delivery performance.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Customer Service, Customer Account Management, Programme Coordination, Supply Chain or Operations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good Excel skills, including functions such as XLOOKUP.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive actions.


Desirable

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience working closely with production or shop floor teams.
  • Manufacturing, operations or supply chain background.

Working Hours

Option 1

  • Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
  • Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

Option 2

  • Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
  • Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
