Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Rochester, is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the key point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle, from quotation through to production and delivery. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, coordinating multiple projects, and working closely with production teams, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and multiple stakeholders
• Take full ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact between the business and customers
• Challenge and support customer briefs where appropriate, providing expert recommendations and value-added solutions
• Maintain high levels of customer service in line with company SLAs and KPIs
• Provide internal support and coordination for external sales representatives and assigned customer accounts
• Produce clear and accurate works instructions for different departments
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services across existing accounts
• Attend customer meetings and site visits as required

Who You Are:
We are looking for a vibrant individual who embodies the following qualities:

• Previous Account Management experience within the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A proactive and inquisitive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately
• Experience using CRM or MIS systems would be advantageous
• Flexible, self-motivated, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
