Our client is a well-established and growing business operating within the FMCG sector, partnering with a range of well-known consumer brands and suppliers. They are seeking a commercially minded Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of products and supplier relationships, helping drive growth, innovation and successful product launches.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within FMCG, particularly health & beauty, household products, personal care or similar sectors, who enjoys managing relationships, identifying commercial opportunities and bringing products successfully to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of suppliers and brand partners.
- Act as the key link between suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging product opportunities.
- Conduct product and range reviews to identify growth opportunities and portfolio improvements.
- Support the development and launch of new products from concept through to market.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and operations.
- Coordinate promotional activities and product development initiatives.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and communication across departments.
- Deliver presentations and commercial recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong client relationships through a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Experience within an FMCG environment- desirable.
- A background in health & beauty, household products, personal care or similar consumer goods sectors- desirable.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify business opportunities.
- Experience managing multiple projects, suppliers or product lines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A personable, confident and engaging style with the ability to build credibility quickly.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Salary up to £40,000 per annum.
