Keeping a high-volume workforce running smoothly takes more than filling shifts. As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a major onsite recruitment contract, making sure the client gets the people, service and solutions they need across a demanding 24/7 manufacturing operation.
 
You'll be at the centre of the relationship, balancing client expectations with workforce requirements while leading the onsite team and tackling operational challenges as they happen. This is a hands-on position where you'll have the authority to improve performance, strengthen service delivery and make a visible difference to a key contract.

Your responsibilities as Account Manager
  • Own the day-to-day client relationship, providing workforce updates, resolving issues and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
  • Oversee a large temporary workforce, including attendance, onboarding, inductions, engagement and workforce performance.
  • Lead and support onsite coordinators and resourcers, setting clear priorities and improving team performance.
  • Plan recruitment activity around changing labour demand, forecasting requirements and supporting high-volume campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate workforce administration, compliance records and operational reporting while tracking KPIs, fulfilment, turnover and productivity.
  • Identify workforce shortages and service challenges early, implementing practical contingency plans and continuous improvements.
 
What we’re looking for in an Account Manager
  • Background in account management, contract management or onsite recruitment, including responsibility for client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing temporary labour, workforce fulfilment and recruitment activity within a fast-paced operation.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing or supporting onsite recruitment teams.
  • Confident using workforce data, operational reports, CRM platforms and workforce management systems.
  • Experience within manufacturing, food production, logistics or industrial recruitment would be advantageous.
Working hours: Flexibility required across operational hours, typically between 5:30am and 7:00pm, with occasional out-of-hours and weekend support when required.
