As a Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for Trescal UK and the coordination of sub-contract work, as well as ensuring supply chain compliance and governance. Alongside this, you will build supplier relationships, ensuring supplier performance is maintained in line with agreed KPI’s to maximise customer satisfaction. We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to be based at our Stevenage site!

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing sub-contract jobs and compliance with agreed KPI’s and delivery times.

• Raising purchase orders for sub-contract work, new equipment, replacement parts.

• Ensuring compliance with sub-contract governance and working with the UK tech team to address queries.

• Assisting with negotiating prices & recovery of all associated costs.

• Communicate effectively with internal departments such as the Laboratory, Logistics, UK Sales to ensure that all customer objectives are met.

As an Account Manager, you will be the escalation point for your customers. You will build upon relationships with existing customers and work alongside the Business Development team on new opportunities. You will be responsible for both quoting and pricing, to assist the commercial team in pricing up potential opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a purchasing and/or administration environment is essential.

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential.

• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Office Suite essential (especially Microsoft Office Excel).

• The ability to assimilate technical information with ease

• Self-motivated and team-orientated.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a busy and demanding environment.

• Ability to organise your time effectively and perform multi-tasks efficiently and in line with specific timelines.

• Other duties as required, commensurate with the role.
