Accountant in Fareham

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with entrepreneurial organisation to recruit an Accountant for its head office in Fareham.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity supporting a varied portfolio of businesses Working within a collaborative finance team, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day accounting, reporting and financial control activities, 

What will the Accountant role involve?

• Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting activities
• Maintaining short-term cash flow information and preparing longer-term cash flow forecasts and drawdown requests
• Completing bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Responding to year-end audit queries and working with external auditors

Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy:

• ACA/CIMA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Highly accurate, organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Proactive and positive, with the confidence to take ownership and communicate with stakeholders across the business
