Overview We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a leading financial services firm based in London. This role is suited to an individual with strong fund accounting experience, particularly across Credit Funds and/or General Funds, who can operate effectively in a fast-paced investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities across a portfolio of credit and/or GP funds.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support fund close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal postings.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers.
- Assist with investor reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience within Financial Services, ideally in asset management, private credit, or alternative investments.
- Strong exposure to Credit Funds and/or General Funds.
- Experience preparing fund financial statements and working closely with fund administrators.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- 18-month contract with a well-established financial services organisation.
- Exposure to a sophisticated fund structure and investment environment.
- Full-time onsite role based in London.
