Accountant in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Sewell Wallis are working with a well established accountancy practice based near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who have an opportunity for a Senior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their supportive team.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders & limited companies.
• Preparing self-assessment and corporation tax returns
• Preparing management accounts using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks

What skills are we looking for?

• Proven work experience as an accounts semi-senior or senior accountant within a practice
• Audit experience is desirable but not essential
• Proficiency in using accounting software like Taxcalc, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various clients and staff
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
