Accounts Assistant - 6 months fixed-term contract

🚨 Accounts Assistant | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Basingstoke 🚨

I'm currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business in Basingstoke on a 6-month fixed-term contract.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional or someone studying towards their AAT qualification who is looking to gain further exposure within a busy finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
✅ Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
✅ Bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
✅ Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable administration
✅ Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding payments
✅ Processing employee expenses
✅ Supporting month-end activities and account reconciliations
✅ Assisting with financial reporting and audit requests
✅ Credit control and debt collection support
✅ Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance
We're looking for:🔹 Previous Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar experience🔹 Strong Excel and accounting software skills🔹 Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills🔹 Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment🔹 AAT qualified or studying towards AAT would be advantageous.📍 Location: Basingstoke📅 Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
